Mr Kim's and Surge Nightclub needed digital guest list and door management on any device without an app store.
THE SOLUTION
What we built.
Doorlist is a custom web application we built for venue door management. It was originally developed for Mr Kim's and Surge Nightclub in Adelaide, and has been running at both venues nightly since launch. The application is platform-agnostic. It connects to any website regardless of how it was built: WordPress, Wix, Squarespace, a custom site, or no website at all. Integration takes minutes. Door staff use Doorlist to manage digital guest lists in real time: birthday party bookings, booth reservations, VIP lists, and general capacity tracking. No paper, no clipboards. One of the key features is the promoter submission portal. Promoters who are bringing groups to the venue can submit their guest lists independently through a dedicated link, without needing to call or message the venue. Lists arrive in Doorlist automatically, ready for the door team to work from. Capacity management and check-in tracking give management a live view of numbers throughout the night. The application works on any phone or tablet and requires no app store download. It is a progressive web app that runs directly in the browser.

What happened.
Running nightly at both Mr Kim's and Surge Nightclub. Paper guest lists eliminated. Promoters submit their own lists independently through the portal. Door staff manage capacity and check-ins from any phone or tablet without an app store download.
